Guardians of Atlas: game data

This is the gameplay data for Guardians of Atlas, the 3D multiplayer RTS from Artillery Games,
exactly as the game used it at shutdown (September 2016). We're publishing it for historical
reference, for game designers and anyone curious how the game was balanced. It is not supported,
and it is not licensed for reuse.

The game is at https://guardiansofatlas.org/ and you can still play it against bots at
https://play.guardiansofatlas.org/.

Layout
------

units.csv One row per unit, structure and spawnable, with the main stats, made
from the JSON below for this archive. Structures also take values from
BuildingConstants.csv, which this summary leaves out.
Configs/ The game's data, one JSON file per object. Each file is
{"<Id>": {...}} and the Id matches the filename. Files refer to each
                       other by Id.
Unit/ Buildable units and heroes. "data" holds the stats; "abilities",
"tags" and "upgrades" list Ids from the folders below; "model" and
                       "prefab" are art and presentation.
Structure/ Bases, towers and spawners (same layout, plus "evolutions").
Spawnable/ Things units summon: minions, flames and so on (same layout).
Ability/ Spells and actions: how they're targeted ("activator", "selectors",
"filters") and what they do ("effectors"), plus cost, cooldown, hotkey,
                       icon and description.
Tag/ Buffs, debuffs and statuses: a list of "effects", a "duration", and
                       stacking rules.
Upgrade/ Research and hero level-ups: cost, build time, requirements, and the
                       stat changes they apply.
Squad/ Heroes (Alder, Celesta, Eris...) and their default decks of units.
  Shield/ Shield and armor types.
UnitDefaults.json Values a unit gets when its config leaves a stat out.
PlayerDefaults.json Per-player starting values.
BuildingConstants.csv Economy and building values, still read by the shipped game.
Stats.csv, Previous* Balance spreadsheets from 2013-2015, before the JSON configs. The
shipped game didn't read them, so their numbers are out of date.
Abilities/ Shared commands (move, attack...) and player abilities such as Ping.

Reading the stats
-----------------

- Id prefixes are the unit's color (faction): B_ blue, G_ green, R_ red, W_ white, N_ neutral.
zDEV_, zOLD_, zART_ and ZZ_ are development, retired, art-test and test objects that never
  shipped in normal play.
- tier 0 is a hero, 1 and 2 are regular units.
- Times are in seconds and distances in world units.
- coinsR, coinsG and coinsB are the unit's cost in the game's three resources.
- attack* values are against ground targets and flyingAttack* against air.
- dps in units.csv is attackPoints x attackCount / attackCooldown. It ignores upgrades, armor,
  abilities and splash.
- Upgrades, tags and abilities change many of these numbers during a match, so the base stats
  are only the starting point.
